How it works

Notary work in Michigan

Most of our in-person assignments are in New Jersey today. Applications from Michigan join our pool for remote online notarization and for in-person work as clients ask for it in Michigan. We do not have an office in Michigan. Before we assign any remote session we confirm with you what Michigan requires of its notaries. This is general information, not legal advice. The larger cities in Michigan that our pages cover include Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids.

What you need

What it pays

Pay and terms

Pay is per assignment at 50% of the customer's service fee. On New Jersey assignments that is $37.50 for a mobile notary visit, $75 for a loan signing and $62.50 for a hospital or care-facility visit. Your exact pay is shown before you accept each job, and we confirm pay with you before any Michigan assignment. This is independent contractor work with a 1099 at year end.

This page is not legal advice. Honest note: we are a young company, and we keep the team small so the contractors who join early get the work as it grows.
