VEHICLE TITLE
Car titles and MVC paperwork notarized where you are
Selling a car to an out-of-state buyer, handling a loved one's vehicle after they pass, or giving someone power of attorney to deal with the MVC often means a notarized signature. A commissioned MCC notary meets you at home, at work or at the dealership.

FAQ
Common questions
Does a New Jersey title need to be notarized?
Usually not for a simple sale between people in New Jersey. Other states' titles and some MVC forms do require notarization, so check what the receiving office asks for. We can't advise on which forms you need.
Can you go to the MVC for me?
No. We notarize and deliver documents. The MVC visit itself is up to you or the person you give power of attorney to.
Can you help after someone has died?
Yes. We visit families and executors to notarize the documents needed to transfer the vehicle. The MVC decides which documents it needs.
